Difference Between Android 3.0 Honeycomb and Android Ice Cream

Both the Android 3.0 the (Honeycomb) and the Ice Cream was introduced into the market in January 2011. Their system was designed solely for the use of large screens that supports tablets.  Nevertheless, the company is creating a new platform based on their experience with the Ginger 2.3 Android version of mobile phones.  The new version promises to be for unveiling in April of 2011. Manufacturers have already prepared for the success of the Ice Cream by implementing compatible handset s.  By the second half of 2011, new and high performing handset will be available for purchase. They will be loaded with dual core, high tech processors. They will have a huge display size resolution and it will run right along with the Ice Cream on a 4G high-speed network.

The combo Honeycomb 3.0 and 2.3 Gingerbread are very high performing tablets with optimized operating systems. In fact, their operating system is compared to that of a Smartphone. The new platform for the Ice Cream will be universal so it can operate on all Android devices, even the older versions. The new system will accommodate both single and dual core usage. The name Google has for their new one system is “One OS that runs everywhere.”It has an advanced UI, framework, face tracking and camera modifications that work according to voice recognition.

The best features of the Honeycomb as been integrated into this version of Android. It has improved web browsing capabilities with Abode Flash Player 10.2 support, and incorporated applications such as, Google Maps, Gmail, Calendar, Google Talk, and Google Search. It also has a reinvented YouTube design and the ability to access and store e-books. The other features are not limited to Google camera support applications.
