Difference Between Android Honeycomb Tablet Motorola Xoom and Samsung Galaxy Tab
On January 5th Motorola Mobility along with Verizon Wireless released the Android tablet the Motorola XOOM. It was the first Android Honeycomb 3.0 version to be officially introduced. Later Samsung Galaxy tab was released as it was the first tablet to integrate phone features. The phone speaker has hands free (Bluetooth) features or speakerphone options. The Tab is about 7 inches and it is very mobile, it operates on the Android 2.2 system the Froyo, which is to be upgraded to the 3.0 Honeycomb versions.
Motorola Xoom
The Xoom is a 10.1 tablet with a dual core processor, an OS Android operating system and 1080 HD video support content. The 3.0 version was designed exclusively for tablets. It has a powerful 1GHz NIVDA Tegra processor and comes with a 1280 x 800 resolution touch screen display. It has a 16:10 ratio, dual cameras front and rear with a LED flash, a 720p video recording capabilities, a 32 GB internal memory, WI-FI, HDMI TV and DNLA support. It is supported by Verizon network system, and can connect up to five devices. It has full browsing capabilities and includes YouTube, Google map 5.0, Gmail and e-book.
Galaxy Tab
The Galaxy is more compact than the Motorola Xoom and the screen size is 7 inches, with LCD multi touch screen capabilities. It weighs less than one pound; it does not have dual processors, but it does have a 1GHZ processor. It has dual camera actions, for in the rear and the other in the front. The front camera is a 3.2 megapixel, while the rear is a 1.3 pixel suitable for video chatting. The battery life is sustainable for up to 7 hours. It runs on Android 2.2 system and it fully supports multi-tasking. It also supports Adobe flash 10 and other application from the Android market.
