Hunting is the pursuit and killing of wild game animals for food or sport. For most of human history, people hunted to survive. This kind of hunting is called subsistence hunting. Later, people hunted on a larger scale. They sold meat, fur, feathers, and other animal products to markets. Market hunting nearly destroyed wildlife populations in the United States. Then laws were enacted to outlaw it. Most game species have since repopulated. Today nearly all hunting is done for sport. Most modern hunters eat what they kill. They hunt mainly for the challenge of matching their skills against the instincts of animals.

Kinds of Hunting

Hunting methods and equipment vary according to the game being hunted. Game is typically classified as one of four types.Big game animals include white-tailed deer, elk, moose, and bears. Among the most popular small game animals are squirrels and rabbits. Upland game birds include pheasants, quail, grouse, woodcocks, and wild turkeys. Ducks and geese are classified as waterfowl.

Many hunters pursue some or all of these game species. But a growing number specialize in just one type. This is because hunting each type of game presents its own challenges. It also requires specialized skills, knowledge, and equipment. For example, hunters usually use high-powered rifles for big game; in densely populated areas they may use shotguns, which have a shorter range, loaded with buckshot or slugs. Hunters pursuing small game or birds in flight typically use shotguns loaded with smaller shot. Waterfowl hunters hide inside camouflaged blinds. They may use calls and decoys to lure game within shooting distance. Hunters of big game may stalk their prey. That is they try to approach within shooting range undetected.

Poaching

Poaching is killing or catching game or fish illegally. Formerly the poacher was most often an individual seeking to augment his food supply or income, or a sportsman whose interest was the trophy. In the 20th century the problem of poaching has centered on large-scale violations for commercial profit.

Hunting and fishing grounds may be patrolled by game wardens to discourage and apprehend poachers. At one time, large landowners set mantraps to catch intruders, but the use of such devices is now forbidden. In some areas, poaching is serious enough to threaten the supply of game and fish, or even to endanger the survival of certain species, as in the national parks of Africa and the islands off Alaska. Countries whose economies are heavily dependent on fishing have sought to reserve fishing rights to their own nationals in waters up to 200 nautical miles off their coasts.

What is the difference between DJ Hero and the Renegade Edition?

Both DJ Hero and Renegade Edition are very popular video games that have been recently introduced to the market. Gamers around the world play both games a great deal but to anyone who is new to this type of game they are often unsure of the differences between the two and which to buy.

DJ Hero came from the hugely popular Guitar Hero that was introduced for PlayStation. DJ Hero allows players to become the DJ and take over the turntable. Renegade Edition is the same as DJ Hero with one main difference. Music stars Eminem and Jay-Z have added their own tracks to this game not found on DJ Hero. Another difference that set the Renegade Edition apart from DJ Hero is that it comes with a compact disc with all of Jay-Z’s and Eminem’s music. Both games are fun to play but the music offered on each is different.

They are actually the new edition of the video game Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver. Though the common mission of both the game is to be a master trainer of every kind of Pokemons’ there are some striking differences between the looks and powers of the Pokemons that are found in the game and also in between the settings of the game. Both Heart Gold and Soul silver take place in a fictional Universe where Pokemons exist. These creatures have special abilities, and Pokemons of Heart Gold and Soul silver has different abilities.

Heart Gold

The types of Pokemon one will get to encounter in heart Gold before national Dex are Spinarak, Ariados, Growlithe, Mankey, Primeape, Mantine, Gligar, Phanpy, and Donphan. Pokemon encountered after National Dex in Heart Gold are Sableye, Baltoy, Claydol, Latias, Kyogore, Mantyke, and Gliscor. There are a group of Pokemons that are not exclusive but are easier to obtain. Such Pokemon in Hear Gold are Caterpie, Metapod, Butterfree, Sandshrew, Sandslash and Ho-oh

Soul Silver

Pokemon before National Dex in Soul Silver are Ledyba, Ledian, Vulpix, Ninetales, Meowth, Persian, Delibard, Skarmory, Teddiursa, and Ursaring.Pokemon after Natinaol Dex in Soul Silver are Mawile, Gulpin, Swalot, Latios, and Groudon.

There are a group of Pokemons that are not exclusive but are easier to obtain these Pokemons in Soul Silver are Weedie, Kakuna, Beedril, Ekans, Arbok, and Luiga.

Prior to the onset of accelerated graphics and dual core processors, Prince of Persia already existed as an MS-DOS application. The graphics were not as great as what we have now, but during the era when having a colored monitor symbolizes wealth and power, Prince of Persia has already entertained a lot of gaming addicts all over the world. Jordan Mechner is the man behind this game. God of War, on the other hand, is developed by Sony Entertainment and has a wide array of challenging levels that would keep anyone busy for hours.

Plot

God of War is about a Kratos, a Spartan leader who would only be freed from his haunting memories if he is able to defeat Ares, the God of War. However, Kratos has to conquer other enemies and their minions before he can have the chance to face Ares in the final battle. Anyone playing the game will be able to feel what it was like to live in ancient Greece and become a mighty Spartan.

The story of Prince of Persia, on the other hand, revolves around the unnamed prince’s quest to free her princess from the evil vizier who would like to marry the princess. The unnamed prince has to face many challenges and battles involving enemies with different weapons and abilities in order to accomplish this goal.

Awards

The appreciation shown by gaming fanatics for God of War and Prince of Persia is rewarding enough for any game developer. But in addition to that, both games have already gained awards to prove that they are indeed two of the best games ever created. The Academy of Arts and Sciences have given the God of War an honorary “Game of the Year” award and it is also considered part of the Top 25 PS2 games. Prince of Persia, on the other hand, is currently listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for 6 achievements including the following: First Motion-Capture Animation in a Video Game and Highest Rated Platformer on PS2 and Xbox.

What’s exciting about games like God of War and Prince of Persia is that they can take you to places you have never been to before, and experience things that would be impossible to experience in real life. Because of this, it can be quite difficult to stop playing until the final level is reached and the final battle is fought and won. Fighting for love, honor, glory, and for what is right are also central plots that will never go out of fashion and will always stir curiosity and keep gamers hooked every time.
