Differences Between HTC Desire HD and Motorola Atrix
HTC Desire HD was once called the smartest phone until the Motorola Atrix came out. Both of them are really good phones and it pays to know their differences when choosing between the two.

What is HTC Desire HD?
HTC Desire HD is a smartphone that measures 68mm and weighs 164gm. It has an 8MP camera with autofocus, dual LED flash, 720p HD video recording, geo-tagging, and face detection features. It uses Qualcomm’s 1GHZ Snapdragon MSM8255 as its processor and has a built-in Adreno 205 GPU, which makes their graphics better. It uses Android version 2.2 and HTC’s sense UI technology for its operating system. The Desire HD has a 4.3-inch wide screen with a resolution that takes the pixel density to around 216 per inch. Its internal storage can only hold up to 1.5GB but it comes with an SD card that can support up to 32GB. It has a standby time of 420 hours and a talk time of 9 hours. It also comes with an 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR/A2DP, and 3G/HSDPA connectivity.

What is Motorola Atrix?

Motorola Atrix is lighter and slimmer than the Desire HD, measuring 63.8mm and weighing 136gm. Its camera has the same features as the Desire HD except it only has 5MP instead of 8. However, it also includes a camera in front, something its opponent doesn’t have. Its processor is a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip, which comes with two separate 1GHz ARM A9 Cortex CRP’s and an ultra low power NVIDIA GeForce GPU. Like the Desire HD, it uses Android version 2.2 OS but with Motorola’s MotoBlur. It has a smaller, higher resolution display than the Desire HD, having a 4-inch screen with a 540 x 960 resolution that takes the pixel density to over 275 per inch. It has a 16GB internal storage and comes with an SD card that can support up to 32GB, which makes it significantly more spacious than its opponent. Its 1930mAh battery has a standby time of only 250 hours and a talk time of 9 hours. Motorola Atrix comes with an 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR/A2DP, and 4G (HSPA+) connectivity.
