Difference Between Hypothesis and Aim
The hypothesis and aim are two words that differ in their meanings and purposes. A hypothesis is an explanation of something which is observed as a regular practice, but should be checked and evaluated on the basis of observation. A hypothesis can be accepted only if it is verified and proven. In addition an aim is the goal of an exercise or effort. This is the main difference between the hypothesis and aim.
It is understood from the definition of hypothesis given above that a hypothesis can not always be true. This can be false too. On the other hand an aim can never be wrong. Since it is always true a hypothesis can be proved in accordance with the aim. This is how a hypothesis should be proved or verified keeping the aim of the experience in mind.
Famous scientists of the past have done exactly the same. They had the aim in hand or in other words they had an aim for every moment. They formulated hypotheses and did everything possible to verify them in compliance with the aim which they strived hard to accomplish.
It is true that scientists have known many ups and downs in trying to assess and verify the hypotheses they have made. They actually used all the mathematical models that came their way to establish the truth of the hypotheses they have made. They did all this only to establish the truth and authenticity is in fact the aim of the whole process.
Thus we can say that the aim is the goal of a company. This is actually the purpose behind the testing of the hypothesis. This shows that each hypothesis should have a goal to reach. It can not be hypothesis without aim.
