Left-handed vs. Right-handed

Difference between Being Left-handed and Right-handed

Everyone is different in his or her own little way. Sometimes, this difference comes in the form of being left-handed when almost everyone else uses his or her right.

Being Left-handed

Left-handed people actually only comprise 15% of the total people population. Because of this, they often face social stigma. Most people think that being left-handed simply means writing with the left hand but there is more to it than that. It means that their left hand is actually faster and more precise than their right in doing manual tasks. However, they are also able to use their right sides in doing other actions like kicking a football. Left-handed people are also believed to think more quickly and have higher aptitude and IQ’s than right-handed ones.

Being left-handed is thought to come from genetic and environmental factors. It may have been brought about by high testosterone levels in the womb, which explains why it occurs 1.5 times more in men than in women.

Famous left-handed people include Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama.

In summary:

  • Left-handed people only comprise 15% of the total people population
  • Left-handed people are able to use both their left and right sides in performing tasks
  • Left-handed people are believed to think more quickly and have higher aptitude and IQ’s than right-handed ones
  • Left-handedness may have been brought about by high testosterone levels in the womb, which explains why it occurs 1.5 times more in men than in women

It has the most up-to-date information on being left-handed, like we DON’T die younger than righties, we are not more creative and we are a larger minority that you think because many lefties are still being made to switch.
