Difference Between LLB and JD
LLB and JD are two degrees that are awarded to students in different colleges and universities around the world. However, they are both very different from each other. Both degrees are very popular and there are many differences between them.
JD Degree:
JD degree is actually Juris Doctor. It is a legal degree. This particular law course is very popular in the United States of America and Canada. In many other countries in the world, JD is not very popular. Students should have the JD degree to receive admission to LLM or the Masters in law. The same is also the case with LLB.
A student requires three years to complete the JD degree from the United States of America and Canada. Americans have a belief that JD is the basic qualification that any lawyer is supposed to have before he starts with work.
