Difference Between Naive And Innocent
Children are endowed with a kind of innocence, they see and feel things through the eyes and their thoughts are not spoiled by anything bad or uncomfortable. For them, the world is anew where a lot more exploration is needed.
Hardly a tinge of their innocence remains as they turn into adulthood. And retaining some characteristics of childhood is termed as naivety though it may be beset with purity too.
Being innocent and naive can be synonymous, but they are different and have features that are separated from each other. Innocence characteristic people are unaware of anything in the world but naivety is not able to function normally in society.
“Innocent” is defined as “a characteristic or property of a person who is without sin and not corrupted by evil, and as such is not marred by any unpleasant feelings.” A good example would be a child, compared with adults are inexperienced and have no knowledge of earthly and evil.
The term comes from the Latin word meaning “free” and “Nocera” which means “evil or harm.” So it literally means “without damage”, and can also refer to a person’s inability to do harm to others.
That an innocent man is safe has good character and is honest and blunt in comparison to their peers. It is different from that ignorance is the lack of knowledge, information and education, and is considered one type of disability.
“Childish” is defined as “a characteristic or property of a person who is single and a lack of experience and treachery.” He has no treacherous art and thoughts and do not know any tricks to fool anyone.
The term comes from the French word “naive”, which comes from the Old French word “naive,” meaning “a person or a native.” It may have also been derived from the Latin term “nativus” which in English stands for “native, natural or rustic.”
Naivety is to have a property set free from ruse, complications and conceit. A person who is a naïve is unaware of other people’s actions or personalities. He may also be not aware of the day to day activities he has.
