Difference Between Permitted and Granted

Granted and permitted are two words that are often confused to be the same, especially in written English. It is because of the reason that both are almost similar when it comes to their senses but there is difference between them.

‘Permission’ is the noun form of ‘permitted’ and this is why it is used to mean ‘allow’ in the sentences. For example,
