PES stands for Pro Evolution Soccera, a famous series of football game. Invented by Japanese company Konami, the game was developed for the first time in 1994 with the platform Super Nintendo and was published first in Japan under the name Winning Eleven. But the first official video game of the famous series Pro Evolution Soccer was published in 2001 PlayStation and PlayStation 2. Over the years, PES was developed in a few versions such as Nintendo’s Game Cube, Xbox PC, PSP and PS3. Each subsequent release was improved in terms of the game play, game modes, better graphics, and more realistic sound effects with new players, teams and leagues. Although PES has not officially licensed, many teams have become famous for the misrepresentations of the names of many players (eg. Totta). Future versions of Pro Evolution Soccer, from PES 2012, will be oriented more towards the teamwork and the phase of attack. The movements of players should help the phase of attack with more overlap. Diagonal, triangular, cross cuts and strategic moves will be introduced. However defensive mode is neglected. The

FIFA is a series of video games based on football. It is a product from American society “EA Sports”. It takes its name from ‘Federation Internationale de Football Association’. The FIFA series saw the light for the first time in 1994. It favored an instant playability more than a simulation of the real. This trend was later changed with the arrival of the football series competitor Pro Evolution Soccer produced by the Japanese competitor Konami. The game made its debut in PC in 2004. Due to its undisputed domain in the field of football games, FIFA could afford to present itself in new editions with always new improvements in the system. The game is often criticized for its static and the simplicity with which goals are achieved. One of the features that distinguish FIFA football games from other competitors is the presence of multiple officially license. Despite the problems FIFA has become and remains one of football game which is a top seller in the world. In November 2010, more than 100 million copies of the game were sold. Since the advent of next-generation consoles, such as Xbox 360 and PS3, FIFA has become increasingly realistic providing a level of playability and simulation. Even the edition of FIFA 2012 presents innovations and is entirely dedicated to game physics.

Difference Between Force and Momentum

Momentum

Momentum, in physics, defined as the mass of a body multiplied by its velocity. For example, an automobile weighing 2,500 pounds (1,134 kg) traveling in a straight line at 88 feet per second (60 miles per hour, or 26.82 meters per second) has a momentum of 2,500 × 88 = 220,000 foot-pounds (30,414 kilogram-meters) per second. If two bodies have the same mass and the same velocity, then they have the same momentum. If the two bodies have the same mass and are traveling at different velocities, then the one that is traveling faster has the greater momentum. If the two bodies have different masses but are traveling at the same velocity, then the more massive one has the greater momentum.

Force

Force, one of the most useful concepts in physics. In everyday life we have an intuitive notion of force as a push or a pull on an object. We push on objects, and they move; the earth’s gravitational pull causes unsuspended objects to fall; frictional forces cause sliding objects to slow and eventually stop; a struck baseball moves off abruptly from the bat; and the force exerted by the engines of a jet aircraft causes it to move at high speed. Such familiar examples of the manifestations of force are innumerable. Indeed, ideas brought to mind by the word “force” are so natural to us that it is difficult to overcome intuitive notions and arrive at a rigorous definition of force.

Concept of Force in Physics

In physics the concept of force denotes a quantity and it therefore must be subject to some kind of measurement to make the concept meaningful.

How Force Is Measured

Instruments used in measuring force include the spring balance, the torsional balance, the gravitational balance, and piezoelectric devices. The spring and torsional balances, which are calibrated in terms of known forces, measure a particular force in terms of the mechanical distortion of a material object. The gravitational balance compares a given force with the gravitational pull of the earth. Piezoelectric devices have crystals that produce measurable electrical voltages when subjected to forces.

Difference between A Kayak and A Canoe

Kayaks and canoes are two popular kinds of recreational boats. Although they are both meant for water trips, they differ in a number of ways.

What is a Kayak?

A kayak is a smooth, closed boat that is close to the surface of the water. It is made from hard plastic and is equipped with paddles on both sides in order for the user to have better control and fast mobility. Kayaks are very sturdy and can withstand various waters and weather conditions, which is why they are used in sea excursions and racing. There are two types of kayaks: close cockpit and open cockpit. No water enters the boat in closed cockpit models but there are built-in drains in both models just the same so that water leaves the boat quickly. There are now a variety of kayaks, all of which are meant to cater to each person’s individual needs.

What is a Canoe?

A canoe is a small boat that is pointed at both ends and open from the top. It was originally human driven but can now use electric and gas motors as their source of power. Human driven canoes are propelled by paddles or oars, usually by two people. Because it is a comfortable boat, it is perfect for family use. However, extra care must be observed when using this boat because water can easily enter it and wind can easily affect its direction. There is no need to panic if water enters though, since proper draining is provided. Canoes, which can sometimes be made from metals, are best used in fresh water bodies.

In summary:

A kayak is a closed boat while a canoe is an open one

Water cannot easily enter kayaks while they can easily enter canoes

Built-in drains are provided in both kinds of boats

Kayaks are usually used for sea excursions and races while canoes are used for family fun in fresh water bodies

Difference Between India vs. Sri Lanka Cricket Team 2011

The roads and experiences that brought these two teams to the cricket final have been very different. Sri Lanka got to the final after winning all their group qualifying matches while India’s victory has been tainted by mishaps such as the controversial tie with England and loss they suffered to South Africa in the group stages. Sri Lanka was a clear favorite due to their efficiency and determination that saw them defeat all their challengers towards a second successive World Cup final. The rivalry of these two neighboring teams has gone down to decades. What then were the strengths that each brought to the final that took place on the 2nd of April 2011?

Old nemesis

Sri Lanka has always have had an advantage over their in all the cricket world cups. They have always beaten India in all the world cup matches from the date of the first World Cup in 1975. This excludes the 1999 world cup when Sri Lanka was beaten by India in the World Cup due to the turbulence that ricked their country during the reign Sourav Ganguly when the country was experiencing brutal attacks from the supporters of the president.

The world cup held in the Caribbean saw loosing bitterly to both Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. What are the two team’s strengths and weaknesses that were a major determinant in his country’s losses and wins over each other over the years and played a major role in determining this year’s final held at the Wankhede stadium, Mumbai.

On a swan song

The years following the then coach of India, Grieg Chappell handing over leadership to Gary Kirsten has seen the national team continuously do well in matches both at home and away. With M.S. Dhoni as captain, the team has beaten all other cricket teams in the country and in international friendly matches and those organized by ODI. The team is now ranked as the best Indian cricket Team ever and s ranked second by ODI.

Sri Lanka’s impressive record

The team has always been a favorite in all world cups and is also one of the longest playing team in the history of cricket world cup. The 1996 trophy gave the team the confidence to challenge any cricket team in the world. The reign of Kumara Sangakkara as the wicketkeeper captain has saw the team grow in strength in the last 3 years after Mahela Jayawerdhene left office. He is one of the best payers to serve as captains of a cricket team. He has brought order in the team by leading from the forefront and solidity to the middle order. He has scored in all matches that were held in all parts of the world.

India’s streangth

Both Sehwag and Sachin have the talent and capacity to torment bowling attacks. Sehwag can was a variable asset to the tea during the match. Sachin on the other hand has been the backbone of Team giving the much required confidence to the team being the team most prized wicket. The middle order is powerful comprising of comprising dashing Gambhir, elegant Viraat Kohli and seasoned Yuvraj Singh, along with Dhoni and Raina chipping

Zaheer Khan is a powerful bowler. He is supported by the wily Harbhajan in this role. The team also relies heavily on Yuvraj Singh, who had scalped 12 wickets in the matches leading to the final.

Although Zaheeer is a good bowler, he has no other fast bowler t support him. Also Harbhajan is a good miserly but cant take wickets.

Sri Lanka’s strengths

Its opening pair, Dilshan and Upul Tharanga is really strong.

Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawerdene are the best middle order batsmen for the solidality at the middle.

Sri Lankan bowling is strong with the likes of fox Murali

Difference Between Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee

Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee they are two people who do not need any introduction as they are famous in their own department. Their skills and martial arts performances have made them a house hold name.

Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan who was actually named as Cheng Long is not an actor, a singer, a social worker, an initiator, a comedian. He has got extra ordinary skills as far as Marshal Arts are concerned. From the early age he mastered all these skills. At that time he used to have no background and no financial support. After a long time he returned to Hong Kong his talents got recognition. Gradually he got a place in the film industry and he became a popular name. He also has his name in the Guinness book of world records for his astonishing skills.

Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee who was named as Xiao Long was a legendary name in the field of Martial Arts. This man is only an actor, but a teacher, movie maker and is so skilled in martial arts that he has invented his own skill named as Jeet Kune Do Marshal Arts. He had been working for the cinemas from a very early age. He became famous as an actor but his interest in the domain of stunts led him to take training. Later on he launched his own school of Marshal Arts where many celebrities have taken training. He was also famous for his expert dancing skills. His movies used to be huge hits but apart from the success he opened up more branches of his school and had a production company. His death was said to be happened due to the cerebral edema.

Bruce Lee was a self made person and a leader in this field. It is true that Jacky Chan has his own style but he was definitely influenced by Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee is a well known marshal arts master; he also gave his own skills a name Jeet Kune Do Marshal Arts. However Jacky Chan is a showman, a comedian, more of an actor and stunts man. His games and movies are more famous among the young ones. When a person looks at Bruce Lee in action, he might learn something out of it and watching Jacky Chan is more fun. could work for a very shorter time as compared to Chan and they are different in their own styles.

Difference Between Replica Jerseys and Swingman Jerseys

With the popularity of sports increasing rapidly among the youth of today, the businessmen have devised several different means of boosting their business with the help of the sports. One such way is the manufacturing and sale of sports merchandise, that includes articles like shoes, socks, bags and jerseys that are worn by the popular sportsmen. The game of Basketball has also not remained untouched of such aspects. If we take the example of jerseys, the jerseys that we buy, are not actually the same as worn by the players. They are either the Replica Jersey or The Swingman Jersey.

Now, if you happen to know a basket ball fan in your family, or in your friend circle, a Replica jersey or a Swingman Jersey is just the appropriate gift you need to give/her But do you know what is the difference between the two? As far as the real and authentic jerseys are concerned, they are the ones worn by the players themselves, and are very costly. So, gifting them is out of question. A Replica jersey may look to be the same as the authentic ones as regards the style and design, but it actually differs in the quality of the cloth material and also in the fact that the design on the replica jersey is a screen print of that on the authentic one. It is inexpensive as regards its cost and very comfortable to wear, and so forms a perfect gift for any individual, who is totally in to the game of basketball.

Another kind of jersey, which is equally popular among the fans, is the Swingman jersey. To any common person, the Replica and Swingman jersey may appear as one or the same as they both possess the team logo as well as the official lofo of NBA. But Swingman jerseys score more than the Replica ones as they are much cheaper in price and also because they resemble the authentic jerseys more than the replica ones, in more than one way. But the Swingman jerseys have one disadvantage of having a comparatively harder material as compared to the Replica jerseys. Replica jerseys are more of a hit among the women than the men, because the material of the jersey is softer and lighter and they are available in lots of flexible sizes, that the women find comfortable to wear.

The most advantageous aspect of buying these jerseys is that they are available at affordable prices in both online as well as offline shopping options.

Difference Between Yoga and Pilates

Adopting a healthy lifestyle never hurts. Fitness freaks and mostly people worrying over their falling health adopt different exercises and workout patterns such as cardio and jogging to keep themselves fit. Nowadays, yoga and Pilates have gained popularity. Like any form of exercise, breathing and balance are two significant parts of these as well which need to be watched out and carefully practiced.

Yoga is mainly a meditation ritual that relaxes the person mentally and develops physical frame on the other side. It mainly originates from India. Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism have stated different aspects and definitions of yoga implying its meaning mainly ‘to control’ or ‘to absorb’. Practically true, the yoga teaches one to control mind and its thought process by meditation and different asana. It also makes you learn to absorb the physical vibe into the body of the natural and calm surroundings while doing meditation.

Pilates, however, is new form of workout. Developed in Germany, Pilates increase the strength of body by controlling mind and body. It emphasizes on finding the axis of body and concentration. Breathing and precision is the key to good Pilates. The complement the contours of a body, it is essential for a person to practice precision while doing Pilates.

The Pilates workout results in toned and sculpted body. More than Pilates, yoga has become a lifestyle and an ardent habit of its practitioners. Yoga is a holistic form of mind, body and soul workout whereas Pilates is only limited to elongated postures. Yoga heals a person spiritually as well.

In both, synchronized breathing is essential. Inhaling and exhaling through mouth and nose is practiced Pilates but mouth breathing is strictly a No-No in yoga. Pilates can also be done with the help of some machines whereas yoga is purely an out and out mat exercise routine.

However, the truth is any form of exercise is effective as long as suits your body and lifestyle. One can also practice the combination of different workouts or Yoga and Pilates. In this way, they can practice the most needed spiritual healing and physical exertion together.

Difference between group and team

The terms, Group and Team although could be used for each other on an interchangeable basis. Yet both these two terms are not synonymous to each other in any case. Even though, phonetically these terms may sound to be similar, yet there are a lot of variations between these two terms. It is all the more important that these two terms, a Group and a Team are properly differentiated or distinguished in order to offer an appropriate and exact definition for each term.

The composition of a Group consists of two to four members on an average. The Group of people is dedicated to work in unison with each other and is ready to be controlled by a leader, or a Group Leader. Although the group members work interdependently along with other members of the group, each member has his or her own individual responsibility with precise accountability to their Group Leader. And when they have performed extremely well, it assists the entire group to attain their goals and objectives. The members of the group generally work on the basis of interdependence on each other.

The constitution of the Team consists of seven to twelve members, who are assisting each other towards the building up of fresh skills and advanced techniques to which it could aid in improving their performance on the whole. The team members do not generally depend on a leader for advice or management. As is in the case of a Group, a team also is deemed to work purely on interdependence on each other and is therefore dedicated to accomplish a single common objective.

The question arises, “Which is a better composition, a Group or a Team?” Despite the fact that the Group and Team are akin to each other, Even though a team works better for long term projects, as they perform together as an integrated whole, disseminating the jobs at hand equally irrespective of the fact whether they have the requisite skills or not. Yet this chalks out the path amongst each member of the team in order to have considerable time on their hands to develop the capabilities which would further increase their performance as a whole team. A team forms an excellent foundation for the much needed camaraderie within the team because of the abundant time span that each member spends with each other. On the other hand, a Group is far easier to control and manage and they are wonderful especially for a short term outputs as they would segregate the work load amid their acquired skills so that the work can be executed much more easily.

The formation of a Group or a Team may also be entirely relied upon the complexity of a particular project as what would be more fruitful and beneficial to the completion of the project and the end result delivered to everybody’s satisfaction. In the final analysis, it boils down to the fact that there is an immediate requirement of skills and the ultimate performance.

Difference between ice skates and roller skates

The truth of the matter about the two words that that we are comparing is basically the fact that both are footwear that are used in enhancing movement in active sessions of ice skating and general skating activities. It is also important for us to note that ice skating is not only a pleasurable recreational activity, but it is also a world class professional sport that is practiced even in the globally acclaimed winter Olympics.

Since skating involves stylish movement in smooth ice or smooth wooden tough, the use of appropriate equipment that comes in the form and shape of ice and roller skates should be observed. Roller skates in definition or description can be said to be footwear that have rollers or wheels at their surface which provide the required ease of movement on a surface by their wearer or user. Ice skates in contrast with roller skate have blades on the surface and are generally used to enhance ease of movement on the ice surface. Although as it will seem to be very obvious that both ice skates and roller skates are used all to enhance ease of movement in surfaces, the main differentiation is based on the actual design of either.

In design, roller skates basically have rollers or four small wheels that help the skater to navigate through on a hard surface. In between the rollers are the friction reducing ball bearings and the stopper endowing the part near the heels allows the individual to halt movement without much difficulty. Roller skates posses very good balancing capabilities. When it comes to ice skates, their basic characteristic is simply based on the fact that it consists of a blade underneath the leather boot which allows easy movement on the ice. The picked blades enhance grip on the ice and indeed the whole blade is made of steel such that, it softly glides on the ice instead of digging it.

The basic difference is the fact that when it comes to roller skates, the application of wheels is used while in ice skates blades are preferred. It is also important to note that the two equipments have profound efficiency and the talent of the concerned sportsman or for that matter user will be spotted out if not further enhanced.

The Difference between the NBA and College Baskteball

All of us are familiar with sports, especially basketball. Basketball has been part of our civilization since the early 1900’s. This is where two teams compete for fun and sometimes even for “fame”.

In past decades, the NBA held to tradition and drafted players who had graduated from college. This was a mutually beneficial relationship for the NBA and colleges. The colleges held onto players who would otherwise go professional and the NBA did not have to fund a minor league. As the college game became commercialized, though, it became increasingly difficult for “student athletes” to be students. Specifically, a growing number of poor, under-educated, highly talented teenage basketball players found the system exploitative they brought in funds to schools where they learned little and played without income.

College basketball most often refers to the USA basketball competitive governance structure established by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). There are three divisions in the NCAA. There are approximately 350 schools who are participating in the first division, 4 of which are independents.

Basketball is played on two professional levels in the United States. The fist level is College Basketball which is played in colleges and is broadly popular among students and the next is the National Basketball Association (NBA) which is played on a national level.

The ruling on the College Basketball and on the NBA differs in terms of numbers. The shot clock for the NBA is usually set to twenty four seconds, while college basketball has a shot clock of thirty five seconds. NBA players are usually fouled out when they commit 6 fouls. College basketball players however, will get only 5 chances to do so. Disputes over the possession of the ball are usually resolved by a jump ball in the NBA. On the other hand, in college basketball, it is resolved through means of a possession arrow that indicates whether which team gets the ball.
