Difference Between CBSE And SSC

Most of the parents who want their children admitted to schools in India are closely watching the programs followed by different schools.

CBSE comes under the government in India while SSC exams are conducted by government of state.

The National Council of Educational Research and games maintains the syllabus for CBSE while the board that oversees public education curriculum for SSC.

India has a large number of educational institutes where large number of students have their basic education. Schools in India – who use English or Hindi as the language of instruction – are affiliated with one of two administrative bodies: SSC (Certificate of secondary education) and the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE ). In 2004-2005, about 1.53 million students were enrolled in primary schools, 0.82 million in colleges and 0.67 million in secondary schools of Delhi which is the capital of India.

It’s been said that CBSE is much better than SSC. CBSE curriculum is concentric which means that subjects taught in a year are to be continued in the next year. For example, the themes of power, pressure and movement are present in 6th standard with friction and force in 7th and 8th standard. SSC programs are generally based on content.

CBSE is the first preference as its easy to clear competitive examinations using the methods of CBSE. Unlike SSC, CBSE Schools teach the practical implementation of English which is more communication oriented

Summary:

1. CBSE is under government of India. SSC, or the Certificate of High school, exams are under the governments of the state.

2. CBSE is a preferred option as it’s useful in taking competitive entrance examinations.

3. CBSE Schools teach the practical implementation of English which is more communication oriented.

4. CBSE’s curriculum is concentric which means that the subjects taught in a year will be the continuation of the subjects of previous year, or we can say that the themes are built on top of previous years.
