How is Diet Coke different from Coke Zero?

The Coca-Cola company produces diet drinks in the Cola line called Diet Coke and Coke Zero. Since they are both diet and do not contain calories, you probably think that there is no difference between them. Diet Coke came on the market in 1982 and almost immediately it became an instant hit across America as a sugar-free soft drink. Coke Zero was introduced in 2005 and was marketed as the drink that didn’t contain any sugar or calories.

Diet Coke is the third most popular diet soda pop in the world. It has different names in other countries and is often referred to as Coke Light, Diet Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Light. This is because it still has the same taste of the popular soft drink without sugar and calories so those who want to lose weight or are watching their weight can indulge and not feel guilty.

The formula for Diet Coke is a different one from that used for regular Coke. Many people think it is a modified version of the original recipe. The ingredients in Diet Coke are aspartame, acesulphame potassium, caffeine, carbonated purified water and flavor. It comes in a wide variety of flavors including Cola, Cola Green Tea, Black Cherry Cola Vanilla, Cola Lemon, Cola Lime, Cola Orange and Cola Raspberry.

Coke Zero is made using the same ingredients as Diet Coke so there is really no difference between them in how they are made. The difference is in the taste. Coke Zero tastes exactly like Coke but without the sugar and calories. There are only two varieties of Coke Zero – Vanilla and Cherry.

Coke Zero is a better tasting soft drink than Diet Coke. This is because it contains artificial sweetener such as Ace K and aspartame.
