Difference Between Hypocalcaemia and Hypercalcaemia

The cause of the two are the same. They are caused mainly due to the concentration level of calcium in the blood. The problem should be taken care of as soon as possible or it may cause complication.
Hypocalcaemia is a medical term. It refers to the low level of calcium in the blood. Living organism’s bones consume calcium. Himan blood also needs ionized calcium in sufficient amount. If the required level of calcium in blood becomes low, a person may suffer from hypocaemia. It should not be taken lightly. Calcium is crucial for our blood. Hypercalcaemia is a state in the body in which the concentration level of calcium increase in the blood. It can cause serius problems. It occurs when the body system is unable to control the calcium concerntration level. It is caused when parathyroid gland becomes overactive and stimulate the body to increase calcium concentration level which then get mixed in the blood. If the level of calcium concentration is too high in the body, a number of problems may occur in the body such as permanent illness, breast cancer and tuberculosis etc. if the concentration is higher, problems like vomitting, nausea feeling, stomach ache and repeatation of urination etc may occur.
