Difference Between Panadol and Aspirin

These two over the counter medications are great for treating headaches, fever and body pains. These anti-inflammatory pills work on reducing pains and relieving some minor conditions such as toothaches, flu symptoms or migraines. The ingredients contained in both products prove to be effective in treating and preventing other disorders. For instance, aspirin therapy is a corrective measure in the prevention of heart attacks and strokes. The main ingredient in aspirins works to thin out the blood and clear the coronary arteries.

The Effects of Panadol

This over the counter drug is not as powerful as aspirin, although it does have some potent properties. It is helpful in relieving inflammatory distress such as asthma. Panadol comes in various forms such as liquid, pills, and capsules. It is also available in suppository, intramuscular, and intravenous doses for individuals who are not able to tolerate oral consumption. It has a lower dosage of anti-inflammatory properties and is safe for children and pregnant women to consume.

The Effects of Aspirins

Aspirin regimens are helpful in the relief of minor aches and pains. It is much more effective in relieving inflammation than Panadol. Even though, it has some wonderful uses, precaution needs to be taken for those who use aspirin over a long amount of time. One side effect is bleeding in the stomach or gastrointestinal bleeding.

In comparison, aspirins offer a lot more in term of health benefits than Panadol. Its benefits are particularly effective for adults who want to reduce their risk of heart attack and stroke. However, it is not a product suitable for young children. Mainly, because of the risks that it poses for younger children. It is not a child friendly drug. Panadol on the other hand is child friendly as it contains lower dosages of anti-inflammatory properties.
