Difference Between UTI and Yeast Infection
UTI is a urinary tract infection or bacterial infection that can affect only some parts of the urinary tract. One of the main agents responsible for this infection is Escherichia coli. Urine is an organic solution of various types of liquids and lots of waste. But bacteria are not normally present in urine. In case they are present, bacteria manage to enter the kidney or bladder, and these continue to multiply, the result is a urinary tract infection or uti. Candidasis infection, however, is more commonly known as yeast infection is typical of Mycosis or fungal infection which can be either superficial or grow into a serious life-threatening diseases. It has a number of other technical names such as moniliasis, candidosis and oidiomycosis.

The majority of urinary tract infections can be treated successfully with oral antibiotics, including fluoroquinolone ,cephalosporins, trimethoprim or a nitrofurantoin. On the other hand, Candidiasis is usually treated with antifungal agents. Some of the most common drugs used are fluconazole, topical clotrimazole, topical Nystatin and topical ketoconazole
