Modern computers are capable of storing much more data because the processor is wider at 64 bit. At one time, this processor was only available for specific purposes but anyone can access it nowadays. It is so much faster than the 32 bit processor.
Both 32 bit and 64 bit processors perform the same function in a computer. It is just that the 64 bit can store more information and it will run the applications much faster.
A 32 bit processor can access a 4 GB memory, but a 64 bit processor can access an 8 GB or even a 16 GB memory.
The digital drivers of a 64 bit processor are more secure and works better with video editing and graphics.
