Difference Between Laser And IPL

Laser and IPL both are light sources, in recent years they have been used to treat skin conditions. When the laser is used at a wavelength, it becomes specific and therefore it can meet very specific elements of the skin, including melanin (melanin is the pigment that gives skin’s brown color and protects against sunlight), water and hemoglobin (red blood cells that carries oxygen to the body organs and tissue). Lasers can be used to treat the signs of aging and sun damage. The laser can be used to remove freckles, moles, blood vessels, explosions, tattoos and hair growth. Lasers can be used to stimulate the production of collagen in the skin, and can also remove the Law of the skin with great accuracy. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is the radiation that consists of several different wavelengths, but within a fixed range. IPL can be used to improve the visible marks of the sun damage, and used for hair removal. However, it is less specific than laser, thus, making a reckless use can lead to complications. To avoid these risks, you are forced to use less energy. This is why patients are often subjected to many treatments done with the help of IPL.
