A look at the speed, performance and features of Android 2.2.1 and Android 2.2.2
Android 2.2, known as Froyo, brought many new improvements and features to the smart phone. Androids 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 are two minor improvements that have been made to Froyo. The first of these was released in May of 2010 and included improvements for Gmail applications and Exchange Active Sync. Twitter was also upgraded as was the weather widget.
Android 2.2.2 was released in June of the same year. There had been a bug in the email in which a random contact was the unlucky recipient of text messages. This upgrade fixed this bug. Essentially this is the main difference between the two – Android 2.2.1 has the bug and Android 2.2.2 doesn’t. The features remain the same.
