Difference Between Android 2.2 (Froyo) and Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) For Tablets

(Froyo) and (Honeycomb) are two of Google Android operating systems. During the CES Androids were among the leading devices that took their place in this event. Almost every device that was uncovered at the showing in Las Vegas was strictly Androids. The newest system Honeycomb 3.0 was designed especially for tablets. Last year Android came out with yet another operating system the (Gingerbread) Android 2.3, and it has many noticeable features. However, the Froyo is still holding its own, as it was proven in Las Vegas along with the Smartphones.

Android 3.1

The biggest between the two is that the Froyo supports both tablets and phones with its mobile operating system. The Honeycomb was designed for larger screens like the tablets and Froyo was not created to serve devices with large screens. What Android it was to upgrade the 2.2 to the 2.3, as Honeycomb is definitely considered the next generation in mobile technology. As of May 11, 2011 Google has stunned the users again with an updated version of the Honeycomb. The new Android release is Google 3.1 operating system. Users are better able to maneuver through the five home screens where they can customize their widget and add more text. This version also supports more USB connectors and devices.

Android 3.0

This version of Android is useful with applications such as Gmail, and UI. It accommodates large screens and has new updated applications. In the new version one can find private internet browsing, bookmark synching and 3D transition. It has special widget features that allow users to create their own character in their contact list, and enhance Google talk and video chat. It has a fully integrated YouTube design, e-book optimization, 3D interaction Google map that is 5.0, and a contact and message folder.
