iPhone 3G boasted a processor of 833 MHz and the performance was about double improved over the previous model. The technical characteristics of a iPhone 3G are still sufficient to ensure the support of the latest version of IOS (iPhone OS 4.3.3).

The capacity of the battery allows greater economy of two hours for conversation as compared to the previous model and 9 hours for browsing the Internet via wi-fi. The movie playback was guaranteed for a range of 10 hours against 7 hours of previous version and playback of audio formats share rose to 30 hours. While the iPhone 3G is available in 8, 16 and 32 GB versions, iPhone 4 is only available in 16 and 32 GB.

iPhone 4 was presented on June 7, 2010 only in black color but in the beginning of April 2011 white color was introduce.

One of the advantages of the iPhone is the 4 Retinal Display: 960 × 640, the screen is more dense. It exceeds the capacity of human eye. The battery has been improved as compared to iPhone bringing the 3G autonomy calls and listening to music, respectively 7 and 40 hours.

The launch of the iPhone 4 was accompanied by some critical problems, the most important of which was related to antenna-gate. There is a reception problem due to the hand grip.
