Rice was named as the best sportsperson in both basket ball and football, during his school days, leading the team and running the football team to a state championship as well. Rice was considered the best receiver in the state of South Carolina during his senior year.

In 2003, Rice caught 77 passes for 1414 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior. Rice finished his career with 167 receptions for 3,044 secondary schools and 31 yards hit. This season, he averaged 18 points and seven rebounds per game as the Indians finished the basketball season 28-0

Vikings signed a four year contract with Rice in 2007.

Rice caught his first touchdown pass on September 30, 2007 playing against the Green Bay Packers. In week 15 against the Bears, Rice suffered a knee injury, forcing him to miss the last two games.

Rice was able to finish rookie season for 396 yards with 31 receptions and 4 touchdowns. He also completed two passes including one from 79 yards, the longest for one quarter in history of Vikings.

Next season, Rice was named an entry with the Vikings acquiring new Bernard Berrian. It was a good start to score a touchdown from 23 yards in a week against the Packers. However, rice has suffered a knee injury that kept him down until week 9.

In 2009, Rice was the most successful season and stellar career. Rice earned his starting job back, and showed chemistry with new quart Brett Favre. He had 176 yards a game against the Baltimore Ravens and finished the game with six catches for 176 yards. Next week in Pittsburgh, Rice had a career-high 10 passes for 136 yards. In week 10 against the Detroit Lions, Rice broke his 176-yard mark, with an outlet 7, 201-yard performance against the Lions. In addition, during the same year he was chosen for Pro Bowl.
Rice suffered a hip injury in the championship game against the Saints and was supposed to have off-season surgery to repair it. On Monday, August 23, 2010, he decided to go through with the surgery and was unable to play with the Vikings until November. Sidney Rice made his debut again in 2010-2011 against the Green Bay Packers in the Metrodome with three catches for 56 yards.

DONOVAN MCNABB

Born November 25, 1976 in Illinois, in Chicago, there was a little boy who dreamed of making it big and preaching international celebrity. He completed his studies at Syracuse University. Donovan McNabb is really a sensation in American football when he brought his full physical and mental expertise of the game.
In addition to his many achievements, Donovan McNabb was named as the best of the Big East Conference offensive player of the decade of the 1990s. To add to his credit, he was aligned in the first team all conference quarterback in his first four seasons.

At the end of his schooling, he played for the University of Nebraska, but then decided to check in Syracuse as they offered a better option. Apart from football, he also played for the college basketball team where he learned the true meaning of competition. In 1999, Donovan McNabb was spotted and drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles. This is the team that his Eagles professional career began in Florida and took off at the right time. Today, Donovan McNabb is one of the most admired stars, recognized in the American sport of football where his name brings inspiration for many up and coming amateurs in the sport.
